This "glad-handing" guy has had his day and accomplished nothing of substance. I certainly don't see him being anymore innovative as Mayor and having Chow and McBain involved with his campaign is a real negative! I'll vote to leave him retired!

The slate rumour on this site is now confirmed as fact....

Slate rumor as a fact TD and what? You aren't at liberty to share these facts?
You lack credibility.

Interesting. MagicM asks truth defender to state proof of a claim, in their own way (by hanging off the edge of an insult) but then says truth defender lacks credibility without stating proof for that claim. You couldn't just ask for the source of fact, you had to take a shot at credibility too.

I believe the statement itself is at least believable, but I'm also curious how you found out it is no longer rumour truth defender.

Al, I wasn't meaning to come across as though I was insulting TD though I can see now how that might be your impression.

Having TD come on here, make a comment ending with.... looks to me as though he's leaving us hanging.

Question for you Al...why do you feel TD's statement is believable?

Thanks.

Sure. TD's statement is just as believable as it is unbelievable in my opinion. The statement is believable because it is just reiterating the original rumour, in which a bunch of NDP friends may be supporting each other in an upcoming municipal election. Entirely believable.

A rumour essentially has 3 outcomes. Proven true, proven false, or remains unproven.

Something is credible when it is capable of being believed. Was the original rumour capable of being believed? Sure. Was TD claiming to have arrived at one of the 3 outcomes of a rumour believable? Absolutely. That is why I believe the statement is believable.

But I, as you, are awaiting a source of proof, or at least additional details, as to how this rumour has been confirmed as fact. Until then it still remains unproven.
