yea-ok... wrote:first of all, i am also for the multiplex and i think that it will be good for the economy. i think that micheal was on the right track in saying that all it takes is marketing and our city can host a multitude of events, its just negative people like you who cannot accept the fact that it can be done, and would rather get giddy over failure. sad, really...
The problem with Moose Jaw is ......Blah blah blah, .... you're too old ..... blah blah blah ..... you're too negative ... blah blah blah ..... you're anti-progressive. Change the channel buddy, we've heard it all before.
And seeing as how you want to bring up marketing.......
Don't you think it would have been better to find the market, then craft this facility to meet the needs of the people we are going to serve? Concerts, trade shows, etc? Instead, in Moose Jaw we build the building, and then hope to fix all those overlooked necessities of our markets with "marketing." Geez genius, even you should know it is damn near impossible to market something nobody wants.
and the multiplex is more of an arena/rink and is being marketed that way. no one said it was going to be a convention centre.
Out of touch, but always have lots to say don't you. You don't recall Mr. Hagel calling the facility the "downtown convention centre" to get away from the negative association with the term "multiplex"? Same with Regina Sagal-Hendry.
Eh, speak up sonny? I was at Peacock forum too and I recall Mr. Hagel using the term "downtown convention cetre" several times. Apparently you were the only one who wasn't listening.
You show up to the party 3 months late and you accuse others of being out of the loop. Nice touch, scholar.
Irresponsible news writers present only 1 side of a story.
The real Multiplex business plan is to suckle mama's teet until it runs dry, or she learns that the child is really 72 years old and needs to be booted out on their own.
