Finally someone is taking the initiative to try and improve K-12 mathematics education and it is being done right here in western Canada! After all it is not that difficult to see that a major improvement is needed, is it?

Teachers across the province will be on strike for two days next week, CBC News has learned.

Teachers have been informed by the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation that they will be off the job Wednesday and Thursday.

With the trend starting to shift towards growth, Gleim doesn't think the board necessarily made a mistake when they closed facilities like Moose Jaw's Ross School a few years ago but believes the reports they were working from were a little misleading. 12% over one year, , that is ridiculous. When are these greedy people going to realize these bloody raises are one of the main reasons for the ever increasing cost of living, one of the main reasons they continually ask for raises in the first place.
