Photo Radar - Good or Bad Idea

Postby truth defender » Fri Feb 03, 2012 9:36 am

The city is trying to get a photo radar pilot program off of the ground. Is it a good idea to slow people on the Trans Canada down or just another tax grab?

In comments reported in the TH Mayor Glenn Hagel said that the city was looking for a pilot project to set it up on the areas of the Trans Canada within city limits - Feb 1st regular print edition.

Hagel and crew could eliminate their silly "Trial Program" and learn much from other Cities (Winnipeg, Calgary) that have already been using Photo Radar for some time! It could save themselves and the taxpayer a lot of time and money if they would just take the initiative to talk with these experienced City Leaders, particularly since there is significant controversy surrounding Photo Radar and how it is managed!!! But what the heck, it is only taxpayer money which means nothing to Hagel!
