Sabbath Poll

I read an article on another site, which made me wonder, what do people really think. So I thought I would create a poll.

Yes it should be Saturday if we follow the Jewish tradition and that is not a Seventh Day Adventist thing.
But due to scheduling and the way our society has evolved it has moved to Sunday.
Others will say this and they will say everyday.

Just so you know the Jewish word is Shabbat - we English people say Sabbath.

Is the Sabbath set by scripture or societal norms though?

Societal norms have done away with the Sabbath.

Sunday became the Sabbath for many Christians a long time ago, but it is actually the first day of the week in most cultures. Saturday was the 'original' Sabbath day. Regardless, I think as long as you observe one or the other you would be in God's good graces.

Any of you guys remember back when stores were closed Sundays and it was Family day?
We sure have commercialised since then . Some would call it prospering, but I don't remember doing without anything because stores were closed one day.

Hey I still remember when they had to - by law - be closed here on Wednesdays.
And the convenience stores were thriving and people did not see their lives split as they had one day to be with the family. None of this not working all week and then working Saturday and Sunday BS while their kids go wild and up to all sorts of nonsense. Got to love the New Economy don't you?
