Timothy Eaton Track

I finally had a chance to make use of my Moose Jaw and District Seniors membership last week (this past Friday) when I paid my 50 cents, in addition to my annual $60 membersip, and go for a walk on the new rubberized track.
I would have to say I really enjoyed the walk on the new track and it was a lot easier on the feet than the old indoor/outdoor carpet was.
The seniors have really done a good job on this one by going out and fundraising most of the $20,000 cost of the new track.
The day I was there, there were about 30 people out for a walk which is about average for the facility.
For any senior (55 plus) looking to walk indoors this winter it is one option out there.
This is one place I am going to miss....

I would love to go...but...the smell of the rubber bothers my breathing. I'm glad that they {Timothy Eatons} were able to fund raise enough money for this, they really did need it.

I guess I should have mentioned the rubber smell.
For me it is not a great concern, but I know that many people are sensitive to a lot of smells.

Even driving or walking by the fieldhouse the smell of rubber bothers me...what is strange as tire shops do not bother me in the least..so I'm wondering what they add to the rubber for it to emit this smell that does bother me.
