Java Express

Just wondering what the general consensus was on Java Express. I've heard the owners are looking to sell. Have personally only had good experiences and quite enjoy the live music and tie ins with the Festival of Words and other local community and cultural groups. I'd hope that any new owners would continue to encourage and support these local groups.

I will have to admit I do not go there all that often - couple times a month - but they have really livened up what had been a dreary corner.
I think that their concept and idea down there was just what the city needed.
I hear a lot of good things about the place and it does have a very wide and disperse following.

Have gone there, nice idea. Still one of the slowest places to get a coffee or sandwich though.

^ EXTREMELY SLOW! and I'd say a tad overpriced...
You can walk up the road to Coffee Encounters and get the same order for 30% less.
I do like the atmosphere of Java better though, and the live performances add that cherry on top.
